"OMG!!!!! The new White Grass Cookbook is da' bomb!! I bought it a couple of weekends ago and have been cookin' up a storm...for the record, the Southwestern Chowder is fabulous...but don't stop there!! The first cookbook is the cooking "bible" in my kitchen and my 20 year old daughter's first cookbook. I guess she'll be getting this one for her birthday. Kudos to all the fantastic cooks at White Grass...we'll just keep coming back for more! Lisa Gillogly
The White Grass Cafe Cookbook is one that will travel everywhere with me. The recipes are wonderful and simple to follow. Healthy eating and living is proven easy at White Grass. Anytime I fix something from the cookbook, the smell in our kitchen brings us back to one of our favorite places....White Grass Ski Touring Center and Cafe! Happy Trails! Jason Espie, Harrisonburg, Va
Like Momma Used to Make only better: This is, without a doubt, my favorite cook book! The recipes are simple and easy to follow. The results are special (ie: not your everday sort of mealtime selections) and delicious. The White Grass Cafe cookbook takes over top honors in our kitchen after knocking out a recipe book from a 1950s flour company. Standouts are a Sweet Potato soup that is tangy and soulful and a Walnut pie that is dessert's version of heaven! Nothing much in this world beats having a mid-winter dinner at Whitegrass, but this cookbook is a close second! James Landry, Riverdale, Md
A ski "homey" flavor is generated throughout the cookbook which makes it warm, inviting, and friendly for use. Great sayings ("eat for living in the mountains") generated reading a good book. I find something new everytime I look up a recipe! Cheers! Jeanne Holmes, Norwich, Vermont
The Cafe is open 7 days a week for lunch all winter. 11- 4. Wine and Beer available. Consider us for your catering needs year round.
